¶ Alert Suppression & Maintenance Calendar
To prevent alert fatigue and false alarms during scheduled service windows, SREs must register planned maintenance calendars.
- Insert Maintenance Window: Log the window in
cockpit_db.maintenance_windows with the target service name.
- Verify Detection Status: The Cognitive Shield automatically checks this table before assigning anomaly scores.
- Auto-Suppression: Manual reassignments or service stalls detected within this window will be downgraded to low priority (anomaly score 0.05).
